1. Menopause cafes throughout 2024

   This year we will once again host four menopause cafes for our staff, with the first taking place on Tuesday 16 January, and anyone wishing to attend can book via the staff wellbeing events page.

2. Join LJMU at Liverpool Pride 2024

   All students and staff are invited to join LJMU at Liverpool Pride on Saturday 27 July.

3. International students studying with upGrad celebrated in Liverpool

   Students from India, Jordan, Vietnam, Iran, Singapore and Norway took part in a three-day visit to LJMU.

4. 135 students graduate from global partner Westford University College

   Over 135 students have graduated this March at a ceremony in Dubai.

6. Kind staff and students support Whitechapel Centre Christmas appeal

   Warm clothes, selection boxes, toiletry sets and Christmas foods were among the items collected and donated by staff and students.

7. LJMU celebrate Chemistry Week with neurodiverse learners

   Staff and students from across Outreach, Faculty of Arts, Professional and Social Studies and Faculty of Science joined forces with neurodiverse learners to celebrate Chemistry Week 2023.

8. Menopause cafe to mark World Menopause Day

   Join us on Wednesday 18 October as we mark World Menopause Day and host our final staff cafe of the year.

9. Support for transgender and non-binary students

   We now have dedicated information on our student support webpages, for transgender and non-binary students, to find out how to get help and support while at university, as well as requesting a name change via LJMU.
