1. Expressions of interest welcomed for multiple Academic Board vacancies

   The Secretariat is now seeking expressions of interest from eligible LJMU staff to serve on the Academic Board and to take up their roles in September.

2. Making Every Contact Count training January

   Staff are invited to take part in a Making Every Contact Count training day on Monday 15 January.

3. Expressions of interest welcomed for Academic Board vacancies

   There are five vacancies available and eligible staff should send an expression of interest for the role to the Secretariat.

4. Academic Registry training sessions February to July 2023

   There are still many staff training opportunities available this academic year, through to the end of July 2023, covering a range of topics.

6. Academic Registry Roadshows February and March

   The Student Governance Team will deliver the next roadshow on Friday 24 February, Redmonds Building 2.33 and Registry Services will deliver a session on Tuesday 7 March, SLB 3.02.

7. Academic Staff Governor Elections

   Following the call for nominations, eight candidates are standing for election, with the election period opening on Monday 5 June and running until Monday 19 June.

8. Making Every Contact Count staff training: September to December

   Book onto the mental health and wellbeing training now.

9. Student Spotlight

   Each week we will be highlighting either an individual or group of students from LJMU in our new feature, Student Spotlight. It will let people know about your LJMU journey, LJMU life, your experiences in Liverpool and the good work that happens around the university

10. Academic Board election voting now open

    Staff have until 5pm on Thursday 14 September to vote for their preferred Academic Board candidates.
