5. Building a bridge across 'The Pond'

   In the year Cunard celebrates the 175th anniversary of its first crossing, LJMU and Southern Connecticut State University jointly announce a trans-Atlantic alliance which will offer increased opportunities for students at both institutions.

6. Designs for inclusion: enhancing doctoral education programme

   Staff can sign-up for the programme delivered across two afternoons, 1pm to 4.30pm on Thursday 9 November and Wednesday 22 November.

7. Student Recruitment, Marketing and Admissions take LJMU to Northern Ireland

   The university sent more than sixty staff and students to Belfast welcoming more than 700 visitors to two applicant events.

8. Student opportunities with environmental project

   We have a great opportunity for LJMU students to develop your skills and experience by working on an online environment and climate project.

9. Military service leavers and reservists - feedback needed

   Our Armed Forces Champion wants to hear about the experiences of students who have served in the military or are reservists.

    In a message to all students, Vice-Chancellor, Ian Campbell, reflected on the killing of George Floyd and what it means for us at LJMU.
