Chief Constable of Merseyside Police, Serena Kennedy, KPM delivered the Chief Constable of Merseyside Annual Autumn Lecture at Liverpool John Moores University.

Here he tells us about the whirlwind of a year he's had, what his LJMU undergraduate and postgraduate degrees taught him, and his own tips for how to stand out from the crowd in the job market.
A £50,000 donation will be used to help end the ‘care cliff’ for LJMU students as they finish their studies.
