2. Masters in Art and Design Degree Show: Class of 2020 show their enterprise

   Around 40 students will exhibit their ideas from MA courses in Fine Art, Graphic Art and Illustration, Art in Science, Fashion Innovation and Realisation and Exhibition Studies.

3. LJMU and LCR collaboration creates 44 apprentices for autism charity

   LJMU has collaborated with LCR to transfer £132,000 of unspent Apprenticeship Levy to Autism Initiatives, funding 44 new apprentice care workers for the charity.

4. World Walking Day 2021

   Its #WorldWalkingDay this weekend (3 October) and in partnership with The Association For International Sport for All (TAFISA), LJMU are encouraging our community to get walking! 

5. National Student Money Week Feb 3rd – Feb 7th 2020:

   Our spending habits can really impact on our sense of wellbeing and the environment. Join LJMUs Student Funding and Money Advice team as we help you develop healthier spending habits that can make you feel better about your finances and create less waste.

8. Diwali 2019 starts on Sunday 27th October and lasts for five days

   Diwali is the famous festival of lights, when families and friends get together to feast and celebrate. The five day festival begins on Sunday 27th October 2019; each day has its own individual meaning and associated celebration. The third day of Diwali is regarded as the most important day. Diwali literally means a ‘row of Lights’. It is a celebration of light! It is a time filled with light and love. The festival does not follow the Gregorian but rather the Hindu calendar known as ‘Tithi,’ which is a lunar calendar. We would like to wish all our students and staff community who celebrate this festival a very happy Diwali!

9. Trainee nurses benefit from latest digital technology

   Trainee nurses and midwives at Liverpool John Moores University will be skilled in state-of-the-art medication management technology software after the university teamed up with international software firm Better.

10. LJMU is offering students access to IT services off campus like never before

    Do you prefer to study out of hours? Is there a pressing lab report that you need access to? No problem! LJMU is providing students with 24/7 access to IT services off campus. That means you can access Office 365 from your own device and download other software onto your own laptop/computer as well as accessing lab computers.
