   As part of LJMU’s support with the rising cost of living, LJMU is offering free lunches every Friday throughout February as part of our Cook Together initiative.

6. LJMU supports law students as host of national speed mooting competition

   School of Law students from LJMU, alongside those attending from other universities, took part in the mooting events, presenting their verbal arguments and putting their knowledge to the test that they’ve learnt during their studies.

7. Campaign highlights the success stories of first in their family students to attend university

   Among the 100 people featured in the campaign is Malik Al Nasir, an author, poet and academic from Liverpool who studied new media production at LJMU.

8. Academic Board Election Results Notice

   Following the close of the elections for 6 posts on the Academic Board, the results are now available.

9. Teaching textile and craft processes to high school pupils

   Staff and students from the Liverpool School of Art and Design have opened their workshops to pupils from Crosby High School as part of a four-month long collaboration exploring university learning.

10. Sport science students make an impact with nearly 15,000 hours of placements

    From community sports clubs that support people with special educational needs to premier league football clubs, 173 students have undertaken 14,730 hours of work-based placements this academic year.
