   LJMU is set to expand its successful degree apprenticeship programmes after being awarded significant new funding. The university has received £1m from the Office for Students’ national fund to support level 6 degree apprenticeships.

   LJMUs Student Futures: Careers, Employability and Enterprise Team have shared 5 of the most popular ways that students can enhance their employability to help support future career goals whilst at uni.

6. Another successful year for the online summer course “Sustainability and Employability”

   Over 60 students successfully completed the online summer course Sustainability and Employability: Understanding Sustainability Issues and Getting Ready for the Job Market.

7. Metro Mayor becomes first LJMU Alumni Ambassador Fellow

   The Mayor of the Liverpool City Region, Steve Rotheram, has become the first Alumni Ambassador Fellow of Liverpool John Moores University.

8. New Associate Deans for Diversity and Inclusion appointed

   LJMU has appointed six Associate Deans for Diversity and Inclusion (ADDI), representing each of the five faculties and professional services, to support the university in driving forward the diversity and inclusion agenda.
