   Research undertaken by LJMU academic, Dr Simone Krüger Bridge, has investigated how Liverpool Cathedrals music outreach programme, one of the vastest in the UK, helped people through the Covid-19 pandemic.

4. Research shows holidays offered by The Royal British Legion significantly improve well-being

   LJMU researchers have carried out a major national study on behalf of The Royal British Legion which shows the breaks and holidays they offer military veterans and their families hugely improves their mental health and well-being.

5. Research and Innovation Day Invites Entries to Scholarly Snaps Competition

   The competition for scholarly snaps will take place again at this year's Research and Innovation Day on Wednesday 19th June. To be a part of this competition please submit your pictures by Wednesday 5th June.

6. Arts and Humanities Research Council awards LJMU £250,000

   LJMU researchers are to help regenerate post-industrial sites of China after successfully bidding for £250,000 funding from the Arts and Humanities Research Council.

7. LJMU Wellbeing Week 11th – 15th March.

   We have a full week of activities which draw attention to the importance of wellbeing and provides an opportunity for staff and students to try out new approaches to staying healthy and happy.

8. LJMU community takes to the streets for Liverpool Pride 2023

   Over 130 students, staff and alumni joined the Liverpool City Region Pride March at the weekend.

9. Teaching textile and craft processes to high school pupils

   Staff and students from the Liverpool School of Art and Design have opened their workshops to pupils from Crosby High School as part of a four-month long collaboration exploring university learning.

10. Passion for gender equity inspires international partnership to promote Women in Science

    Women scientists at LJMU have won a grant to share our institutional learnings on gender equality with partner institutions in Brazil.
