1. PhD student takes care support to Parliament

2. Respect Always schools’ competition winners recognised by PVC

   Secondary school pupils have been recognised by LJMUs Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Student Experience) Professor Phil Vickerman for demonstrating what respect means to them, and their school communities, as part of a creative competition.

3. New ES1 form available for managers

   The Finance team has recently updated the ES1 form used to assess contractors against HMRCs off-payroll working rules (sometimes called IR35).

4. Graduation dates announced for March 2023

   Our next graduation ceremonies are now scheduled to take place between Monday 27 – Wednesday 29 March 2023

5. Professorship, readership

   The Professorship and Readership Conferment process for 2023 is now open.

6. Psychology student Charlotte and her Discovery Internship experience

7. Digital media and content production CPD courses

   Staff looking to reskill, retrain or advance their skills in digital media and content production may be interested in one of our Screen School’s short courses.

8. New support for staff development

   The university will shortly be introducing a new system to support you in recording and tracking performance and development conversations.

9. Bronze award for support of the Armed Forces

   LJMU has received the bronze award from the Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) acknowledging how we provide support to the Armed Forces community.

10. Improvement works at John Foster Building

    Next month (June 2022), we will begin a programme of improvement works to John Foster Building, which means it will be closed for a period over the summer.
