1. Congratulations - we walked around the world 12 times in only 100 days!

   This is the fourth consecutive year that LJMU has enjoyed 100 days of stepping and wellbeing - with 78 teams taking part between 23 May and 30 August 2018.

2. Applications open for Research England Policy Support Fund

   LJMU is being allocated funding from the Research England Policy Support Fund (PSF) to support the development of impactful research and engagement activities. Applications of up to £10,000 will be considered and applicants have until 5pm on Monday 10 October 2022 to make a submission.

3. New facilities now open at Avril Robarts Library

   Two newly-refurbished floors of Avril Robarts Library are now open!

4. Undergraduate teacher training at LJMU comes top in the North West

   LJMU has been placed 5th best in the country and top in the North West for Undergraduate Initial Teacher Training (ITT) provision in the latest edition of the Good Teacher Training Guide.

5. Heating engineer wins Undergraduate of Year Award

   Engineering graduate Bas Pilar wins Undergraduate of Year Award from Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers

6. Academic Staff Governor voting now open

   All Academic staff have until 5pm on Monday 19 June to vote for their preferred Academic Staff Governor candidate.

7. University welcomes new students

   St George’s Hall will again play host to a special event organised by LJMU to welcome new full-time undergraduates to the University and the city of Liverpool.

8. Register for the Students at the Heart Conference 2024

   Staff and students can now register to attend the conference, with various workshops and sessions taking place across the two days, in the Redmonds and Student Life buildings, on LJMU campus.

9. Students at the Heart Conference 2024: submissions now open

   Submissions are now open for the Students at the Heart Conference and the theme for 2024 will be ‘community.’

10. Applications now open for Advance HE Aurora Programme 2024

    Applications are now being taken for a leadership development initiative for women.
