   LJMU is looking for staff to help recruit students to LJMU during Clearing 2024 on Thursday 15 August.

   When a fire alarm sounds, everyone has a part to play in the safe evacuation of people from a building.

3. Addressing gender imbalance within higher education

   For the fourth lecture in LJMU's Athena Lecture Series, three speakers from STEMM and non STEMM backgrounds presented to a packed lecture theatre comprising academics, students, professionals and Year 9 pupils from four local schools.

4. Training for managers/personal tutors on disabilities and long-term health conditions, including mental health

   The aim of the programme is to offer LJMU Managers, Programme Leaders and Personal Tutors further support and guidance, in relation to; operating more confidently and effectively, whilst developing themselves and their staff/students positively.

5. LJMU outlines plan for equality of opportunity for students

   Approved by the Office for Students (OfS), LJMU is outlining its Access and Participation Plan (APP) 2025 to 2029.

6. LJMU sport and gym memberships 2025

   LJMU sport and gym memberships have decreased for the remainder of 2025 with discounted prices from £20 for students and £35 for staff and alumni.

7. Dr Alan Bury recognised for twenty year contribution to maritime education

   Dr Alan Bury, Senior Teaching Fellow from the School of Engineering has been awarded the Merchant Navy Medal for Meritorious Service by Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal.

   What do you think LJMU’s priorities should be around sustainability and climate change?

9. Embedding nature in local planning

   LJMU is training officers from the six local authorities of the Liverpool City Region and the combined authority to understand the importance of putting nature at the heart of local decision-making.
