   LJMU’s Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Team, are proud to be working in partnership with coaching and training specialists; Result CIC (Community Interest Company) and are pleased to offer LJMU Managers, Programme Leaders and Personal Tutors (those directly responsible for staff/students) the opportunity to participate in a half day Training for Managers of Staff with Disabilities & Long-Term Health Conditions Including Mental Health, workshop.

4. Galaxy Zoo allows public to zoom in on Universe discoveries

   Researchers at the LJMU Astrophysics Research Institute have recently joined Galaxy Zoo, a 'citizen science' driven astronomy project.

   Voquent.com are a multilingual voice acting agency based in London, UK. They've created the Voquent Voice Acting Scholarship to give one lucky student everything they need to work in the voice acting industry.

7. UKRI open access monograph funding changes

   A reminder that UKRI has recently announced their guidance and requirements with regards to publishing open access monographs, which come into place from 1 January 2024.

8. Retracing "world's most costly" ship crash on LJMU Maritime Simulator

   After the worlds most costly cargo ship accident, maritime expert Dr Abdul Khalique mans LJMU's £2.5 million simulator to explain what went wrong on board the Ever Given.
