Following the call for nominations, an election for the non-teaching member of staff on Academic Board will take place.
There is currently one vacancy on the Board of Governors for a member of Teaching staff for the period of office 21st April 2020 to 20th April 2023.

The celebrating cultures event this year had India, China, Canada, Pakistan, Colombia, Nepal, England, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lesotho, Scotland, Vietnam, Nigeria, Indonesia, Greece, Italy, Bangladesh, Switzerland, Iran, Somalia and Brazil being represented. Following this event, an international student wrote a reflection on their experience in participating.
Following the call for nominations, eight candidates are standing for election, with the election period opening on Monday 5 June and running until Monday 19 June.
All Professional Services staff have until 5pm on Monday 27 March to vote for their preferred Staff Governor candidate.
Two new policies will support teaching staff in their development through peer exchange and direct observation.

We will mark Armistice Day by observing a two-minute silence at 11am on Monday 11 November.
