   LJMU once again proved its commitment to supporting young people from disadvantaged backgrounds thanks to the Law Factor.

   The Graduate and Placement Jobs Fair takes place on Wednesday 18 October at the Student Life Building, 12-3pm. It will feature 60+ organisations from a range of sectors looking to hire students from across all courses and disciplines.    LJMU’s on campus recruitment agency, Unitemps, has won ‘Branch of the Year’ at the Unitemps Annual Awards 2024.

4. LJMU rated highly in sustainability table

   LJMU has been ranked as one of the top four universities in the country for ethical investment in a national review of sustainability and ethical investment in higher education.

5. More Sumatran orangutans found in the wild than expected

   Researchers have discovered c.14,600 animals still live in the wild today - 8,000 more than expected.

6. Cook Together: Two more free lunches this February

   As part of LJMU’s support with the rising cost of living, LJMU is offering free lunches every Friday throughout February as part of our Cook Together initiative.
