1. Catering store within iBuy down 14 to 18 August

   The catering store within iBuy will be down from 14 to 18 August. Any catering requests for during this period and up to the 22 August should be booked in advance.

2. New student complaints and appeals forms

   Student Complaints Forms and Appeals Forms are now available on the My LJMU Portal.

3. April/May exam timetable now live

   The next assessment period for LJMU students will take place from Monday 22 April to Friday 3 May 2024 (inclusive).

4. LJMU postgraduate Sport Psychology programme first of only three in country to gain BASES accreditation

   The School of Sport & Exercise Sciences at LJMU is one of only three universities to have its MSc Sport Psychology course accredited by professional body, the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES).

6. Dr Alan Bury recognised for twenty year contribution to maritime education

   Dr Alan Bury, Senior Teaching Fellow from the School of Engineering has been awarded the Merchant Navy Medal for Meritorious Service by Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal.

   Copies of the new wellbeing journal are now available and staff are encouraged to order copies for their students.

   Remember it’s really important to always lock your screen before leaving your computer, in order to protect your data.

9. Fault reporting processes for the new academic year

   As the new academic year begins and our campus becomes busy once more, staff are reminded to ensure that all faults are reported via the respective Helpdesks.

10. Praise for LJMU’s support of care leavers from Minister for Higher and Further Education

    LJMU deserves the highest praise for their success according to the Minister for Higher and Further Education, after it was the first of only four institutions to be awarded the National Network for the Education of Care Leavers (NNECL) Quality Mark.
