1. Transgender Awareness Workshops (2019/20)

   LJMU are proud to be working in partnership with Subject Matter Expert; GenderSpace and are pleased to offer LJMU Staff the opportunity to participate in a half day, Transgender Awareness Workshop.

2. Aspiring Leaders from BAME Communities Informal Networking Event

   On Thursday 14th November 2019  (12.30pm  – 3.30pm), Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) will host a BAME into Leadership network event in partnership with BME Leadership Network (BLN) and Parrett Laver a recruitment company that assist HEIs with recruiting top level positions.

3. Partnership puts students at heart of Albert Dock dig

   Liverpool's Albert Dock is set to be the backdrop for a high-profile LJMU archaeological dig later this month.

4. Women in Professional Services event: Wednesday 12 October 2022

   Staff are invited to the first face-to-face networking event organised by the Women in Professional Services (WPS) Network, taking place on Wednesday 12 October 2022 at the Student Life Building with guest speaker Dawn Corker.

6. Inclusive Allyship Programme (In Association With The Challenging Racism Webinar Series)

   Following the Challenging Racism Collaborative Campaign (webinar series), the University of Kent, Liverpool John Moores University and City, University of London are working with Inclusive Employers to deliver a virtual, Inclusive Allyship Programme.

7. LJMU success at Greater China Awards 2022

   The university has won accolades for its work with China, as part of the UK's Department for International Trade Greater China Awards 2022.

8. New ES1 form available for managers

   The Finance team has recently updated the ES1 form used to assess contractors against HMRCs off-payroll working rules (sometimes called IR35).

9. LJMU pioneers nursing 'transition' course for refugees

   NURSES from overseas are being recruited to join the NHS workforce under a scheme piloted in Liverpool.

10. Curriculum Management system taking shape

    Work is well under way on a major project to develop a new curriculum management system for LJMU.
