   The School of Sport & Exercise Sciences at LJMU is one of only three universities to have its MSc Sport Psychology course accredited by professional body, the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences (BASES).

4. Dr Alan Bury recognised for twenty year contribution to maritime education

   Dr Alan Bury, Senior Teaching Fellow from the School of Engineering has been awarded the Merchant Navy Medal for Meritorious Service by Her Royal Highness the Princess Royal.

9. Praise for LJMU’s support of care leavers from Minister for Higher and Further Education

   LJMU deserves the highest praise for their success according to the Minister for Higher and Further Education, after it was the first of only four institutions to be awarded the National Network for the Education of Care Leavers (NNECL) Quality Mark.

    Two third year paramedic students sprang to action last week to help a casualty who had fallen on Rodney Street, Liverpool.
