1. Restrictions on using USBs for students and staff

   From 4 September students will be no longer able to use USB storage devices on LJMU equipment. This is alongside the restrictions already in place for staff.

2. Join the LJMU All Staff Football Tournament this September

   On 5 September, LJMU will be hosting an all-staff 5-aside football tournament in the LJMU Sport Building with all levels of football experience welcome.

3. Staff car parking update August 2023

   The university will continue to subsidise staff car parking until 31 August 2024.

4. Updates to Relocation Policy for new staff

   The Relocation Policy for new staff has been updated to ensure it reflects HMRC guidance.

5. Academic Staff Governor voting now open

   All Academic staff have until 5pm on Monday 19 June to vote for their preferred Academic Staff Governor candidate.

6. Join an LJMU Staff Network and take on a key Network Official role

   Did you know LJMU has a number of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) related Staff Networks and Ally Groups, that LJMU and JMSU staff can join?

7. New date for staff event raising awareness of domestic abuse support

   Staff are invited to an event on Wednesday 14 December from 10am to 11am at Exchange Station (Room 1 & 2), where they can find out more about how we're supporting those impacted by domestic abuse.

8. Staff Qualifications and Health and Safety policy updates

   A number of LJMU staff policies have been updated.

9. Front of class technology support sessions for staff - September 2022

   IT Services Technology Support staff will be on hand this September to offer informal guidance on the operation and use of in-class technologies such as projectors, visualisers, and front of class computers.

10. Staff dental plan

    An opt-in period is now open for a staff dental plan.
