1. Academic Registry Roadshows February and March

   The Student Governance Team will deliver the next roadshow on Friday 24 February, Redmonds Building 2.33 and Registry Services will deliver a session on Tuesday 7 March, SLB 3.02.

2. Expressions of interest welcomed for Academic Board vacancies

   There are five vacancies available and eligible staff should send an expression of interest for the role to the Secretariat.

3. New university report cover sheet and guidance

   The Secretariat shares with you the latest update which came into force on Monday 4 December 2023, with immediate effect.

4. Data protection related policy updates

   Four data protection related policies have been updated and can now be found on the LJMU Policy Centre.

5. Menopause matters celebration and future initiatives

   An update on the work happening at LJMU to better support staff going through the menopause.

6. Making Every Contact Count staff training: September to December

   Book onto the mental health and wellbeing training now.

7. LJMU funded bootcamp programme for staff

   We are funding 16 staff places on a new bootcamp programme which will see you complete ’24 in 24’ – that’s 24 sessions in 2024.

8. New workplace milk initiative

   Staff can now order milk through Catering Services for their team to collect once a week.

9. Academic Registry online training sessions

   There are lots of academic staff training opportunities still available throughout the remainder of semester one.

10. Pensions Awareness Week online events 12-16 September

    As part of Pensions Awareness Week, Merseyside Pension Fund will be running a series of live online events which aim to increase pensions awareness among active members of the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).
