1. Data protection related policy updates

   Four data protection related policies have been updated and can now be found on the LJMU Policy Centre.

2. Admissions Policy update

   The LJMU Admissions Policy has recently undergone some minor amendments and the updated version can be found in the Policy Centre.

3. Careers support for 2019 LJMU graduates

   Whether you are a final year undergraduate or postgraduate student, there is a wealth of careers and employability support available to you both in the run up to graduation and beyond.

4. Expressions of interest welcomed for multiple Academic Board vacancies

   The Secretariat is now seeking expressions of interest from eligible LJMU staff to serve on the Academic Board and to take up their roles in September.

5. Staff Car Parking Update

   Following a recent review of LJMU staff car parking provision, the university will continue to subsidise staff car parking until 31 August 2023.

6. PCC praises LJMU for raising awareness of domestic abuse support

   LJMU are signed up to the Domestic Abuse Workplace Scheme, led by the Police and Crime Commissioner's office, and more workplace champions are being sought.

7. Staff Qualifications and Health and Safety policy updates

   A number of LJMU staff policies have been updated.

8. Dance soiree to explore ‘Growing Old in the Soviet Union’

   Participants are invited to watch a 30-minute dance following the life trajectory of two Soviet citizens and then to give views about ageing and older people as part of an LJMU History and Wellcome Trust project.

9. Alleged Misconduct in Research and Knowledge Exchange Policy now approved

   The policy can be accessed via the LJMU Policy Centre.

10. Health and safety code of practice updates

    Two of our health and safety codes of practice and have updated and can be accessed on the Policy Centre.
