   LJMU Connect has launched the LJMU Mentoring Group to enable students, staff and alumni to develop meaningful mentoring connections within our LJMU community.

   As we near the end of 2023 and our Bicentenary celebrations, we're shining a spotlight on some of the staff members who have celebrated their own milestone of 25,35,45 or 50 years at the institution.

3. Complete the Postgraduate Research Experience Survey 2023

   Postgraduate Research Students have the chance to win £500 as well as help raise money for a fantastic local charity by taking part in a short survey.

   We are looking for staff to help with our clearing hub on Thursday 17 August.

6. Secure a paid internship and discover what you want to be

   LJMU is offering our second and final year students (Levels 5 & 6) the opportunity to undertake a paid 'Discovery Internship' with a local organisation, working on a suitable project or piece of work that will enhance your employability skills and career insight.

   Annual fee of £25 for students and £40 for staff/alumni

8. Fashion students' 'sustainable Eurovision collection' in John Lewis

   Fashion students have collaborated with BEPO to create a sustainable Eurovision collection for Liverpool ONE’s John Lewis

9. An afternoon with an astronaut

   Over 300 attendees from across Liverpool attended an ‘Afternoon with Helen Sharman ‘to listen to the inspiring story of what it was really like to become the first British astronaut in space.

10. Get 'Too Good to Go' food from Core Cafes

    To further help with the Cost of Living and as part of our commitment to sustainability at LJMU, we’re launching the Too Good to Go app for students and staff this September.
