1. Hybrid working guidance

   Following the initial launch of hybrid working last year, our HR team has now shared its Hybrid Working Guidance.

2. LJMU launches University Funded Diversity and Inclusion Scheme

   LJMU is providing grants to academic staff, students, and professional services staff, to work on research across the university related to Diversity and Inclusion.

3. Students at the Heart Conference 2023 submissions now open

   Submissions from across the LJMU community and our partner organisations are now being sought for the 2023 conference taking place in June.

4. Research outcomes: data repository support and arts output gathering

   Our Research Engagement Team within Library Services wants to know more about your research outcomes and is sharing new guidance on using the LJMU data repository.

5. Changes in Core Café opening times: Tuesday 31 October

   Due to the passing of one of LJMU’s much loved catering team members, there will be several changes to Core Café opening hours across the day on Tuesday 31 October

6. Reserves Day and Armed Forces Day 2023

   LJMU is marking both Reserves Day (Wednesday 21 June) and Armed Forces Day (Saturday 24 June) as part of its pledge to support the Armed Forces community under the Armed Forces Covenant.

7. LJMU awarded Top 20 in StudentCrowd University Awards

   Liverpool John Moores University has been awarded top 20 positions, across seven categories, in the StudentCrowd University Awards 2023

8. LJMU 4th in Uni Compare Top 100 Universities rankings

   Liverpool John Moores University has ranked #3 in Course Quality in the Uni Compare 2023 Rankings and is now in 4th place overall in the Uni Compare Top 100 Universities rankings.

9. Can you support clearing this August?

   We are looking for staff to help with our clearing hub on Thursday 17 August.

10. Graduate and Placement Jobs Fair

    The Graduate and Placement Jobs Fair takes place on Wednesday 18 October at the Student Life Building, 12-3pm. It will feature 60+ organisations from a range of sectors looking to hire students from across all courses and disciplines. If you have a disability, health condition or are neurodivergent and find busy fairs can be overwhelming, join us from 11am for our accessibility hour.
