   NURSES from overseas are being recruited to join the NHS workforce under a scheme piloted in Liverpool.

6. Health, safety and environmental management code of practice updates

   The Executive Leadership Team (ELT) has recently approved a new health and safety code of practice as well as amendments to a further 11 policies.

7. Alumna wins Golden Globe

   Claire Foy, star of the £100m Netflix series, The Crown, and graduate of LJMU, has won a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a TV series.
