   This week marks the launch of an exciting new development to our website. A project group have been working with an external agency (Sagittarius) to improve the course search function.

2. Light Night 2016

   LJMU has again been announced as the principal sponsor of LightNight, Liverpool’s one-night arts festival, with the University supporting the event for the third year running.

   Each of these resources is a standalone academic skills class accompanied by a full lesson plan with teaching notes.

6. LJMU joins action group spearheading positive change for technical career pathways

   Two LJMU staff members will sit on the Career Pathways Action Group.

7. Academic Registry Policy Update

   The Academic Board has recently approved an update to the Personal Circumstances Policy, as well as detailed supporting guidance for LJMU students and the Personal Circumstances Panel.

8. In memoriam: Caroline Chinn

   It is with great sadness that the university announces the death of Caroline Chinn following a long illness.

9. Honorary Fellow Jane Cordell

   Liverpool John Moores University awards Honorary Fellowship to Jane Cordell at Liverpool Cathedral on Wednesday 11 July 2018.

10. Work with LJMU Marketing

    LJMU Marketing Services are on the lookout for students to feature in our print and online marketing materials and work alongside us to help produce social media content - to promote the university and Liverpool.
