1. 'Greener' LJMU rewarded with 2:1 by People & Planet

   LJMU ranked 57th out of 151 UK HEIS for environmental sustainability.

2. LJMU students help refugees at the Polish/Ukrainian border

   MA Wildlife Conservation students Vanessa Grundy, 27 and Alex Donnelly, 27 along with Vanessa's brother Mike Grundy are currently at the Poland-Ukraine border helping refugees get to safe accommodation in Krakow, and further across Europe, following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

4. Staff car parking update August 2023

   The university will continue to subsidise staff car parking until 31 August 2024.

   LJMU has been recognised for its environmental initiatives on campus following an external inspection.

6. Academic Registry results notification briefings

   Two Microsoft Teams sessions will take place later this month to assist LJMU administrative staff involved with the pre and post board of examiner process, including results notification.
