  1. LJMU relations with Nepal strengthened after researchers meet with President

    Researchers from LJMU have met with the President of Nepal, the Right honourable Bidhya Devi Bhandari, to discuss issues relating to education, gender, women's rights and social justice. Dr Sara Parker from Sociology, School of Humanities and Social Science and Rose Khatri from the Centre for Public Health recently met with the President and spoke for almost two hours.

    LJMU is joining organisations across the globe to celebrate International Women's Day (IWD) 2021.The day recognises the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women, while calling for action in accelerating gender parity.

  3. Graduation review - Thursday 22 November 2018

    Students from the Schools of Sport Studies, Leisure and Nutrition, the Public Health Institute and the School of Nursing and Allied Health celebrated their success in the morning ceremony, while graduates from the School of Education were recognised in the afternoon.

    IT Services has started the process of migrating all of our on-premise SharePoint and shared drives (JT2) to either Microsoft Teams or SharePoint Online.

    Claire Foy, star of the £100m Netflix series, The Crown, and graduate of LJMU, has won a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a TV series.

    Many external (non-LJMU) websites have been hacked recently, resulting in millions of usernames and passwords being leaked and passed on to criminals.
