3. Dr Avril Rowley

   Avril is a graduate of the university, she spent 20 years teaching in primary schools on Merseyside before joining LJMU in 2014 where she is now a senior lecturer within our School of Education, working with both undergraduate and postgraduate students on our primary education programmes. She combines her passion for the outdoors with teaching, and has become our lead on outdoor learning, developing a new approach called the Natural Curriculum, and establishing two Forest School sites.

4. SDG 10 - Reduced inequalities

   LJMU strives to enable equality for all people regardless of income, sex, age, disability, sexual orientation, race, class, ethnicity, religion. Our international and collaborative research aims to give a voice to minoritised and vulnerable communities and end poor treatment of human beings. Our research extends to improving the treatment of women in African prisons and identifying disaster victims through our Face Lab.

   Gain a deeper understanding of dementia and the ability to identify innovations in care delivery and adapt these for your own organisation through this CPD course.

6. CPD Research Methods

   In this CPD course you'll develop your skills as a potential producer of research, along with your ability to systematically evaluate research outcomes from a variety of sources and using a range of data analysis techniques.

7. CPD Video Content Production

   CPD course that will allow you to practice and apply a range of professional video production techniques. You will be given the opportunity to develop skills in video production, animation and motion graphic practice and creative production.
