Five candidates have put themselves forwards for the position and voting will take place between Monday 13 and 27 March.
The Secretariat is now seeking expressions of interest from eligible candidates to represent Professional Services as a Staff Governor member of the Board of Governors.
All Professional Services staff have until 5pm on Monday 27 March to vote for their preferred Staff Governor candidate.
Following the call for nominations, eight candidates are standing for election, with the election period opening on Monday 5 June and running until Monday 19 June.
Fran Yeoman, Head of Journalism in the Faculty of Arts, Professional and Social Studies, has been appointed to the UK Governments Media Literacy Taskforce Steering Board.
