   LJMU is to set out ambitious proposals to transform our campuses over the next eight years, with a focus on students and sustainability.

   LJMU is outlining its commitment to the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) through a microsite which highlights the research and knowledge exchange, student experience and place and partnership activities, that showcase the university’s ongoing journey towards a more sustainable, prosperous future for local communities and the whole planet.

3. Changes to the Leadership and Development Foundation

   The Leadership and Development Foundation is undergoing some changes to better support all staff development across the whole of LJMU.

4. New support for staff development

   The university will shortly be introducing a new system to support you in recording and tracking performance and development conversations.

5. New performance review and development system

   Following a successful pilot scheme, from next week all staff will be able to access a brand new system to take ownership of their development and objective.

6. Positive response to Actus staff development platform

   There has been an extremely positive response from staff to the introduction of Actus, our new system to support development and performance.

7. Technician Development - HEaTED relocates to a New Home in 2020

   New partnership between the NTDC and HEaTED. LJMU subscribes to HEaTED and promotes related opportunities and support for our technical staff.

8. Apply for 'Nia': career development programme for ethnically diverse staff

   Applications for the ‘Nia’ development programme 2023 are now open to ethnically diverse staff at LJMU.

9. #IDPD2019 - new development opportunities for staff

   LJMU to launch new Mental Health Awareness development opportunities for all staff in January 2020.
