1. Email account improvements

   IT Services will soon be migrating staff email accounts to provide us with greater security, increased storage limits and easier accessibility.

2. Staff dental plan

   An opt-in period is now open for a staff dental plan.

3. Staff Governor vacancy

   The Secretariat is now seeking expressions of interest from eligible candidates to represent Professional Services as a Staff Governor member of the Board of Governors.

4. Staff Car Parking Update

   Following a recent review of LJMU staff car parking provision, the university will continue to subsidise staff car parking until 31 August 2023.

5. Professional Services Staff Governor Elections

   Five candidates have put themselves forwards for the position and voting will take place between Monday 13 and 27 March.

6. Staff Governor voting now open

   All Professional Services staff have until 5pm on Monday 27 March to vote for their preferred Staff Governor candidate.

7. Academic Board Elections - Teaching Staff

   Elections for the Academic Board teaching staff will take place from 24th May until 11th June 2019.

8. Updates to Relocation Policy for new staff

   The Relocation Policy for new staff has been updated to ensure it reflects HMRC guidance.

9. Academic Board Elections - Non-Teaching Staff

   Following the call for nominations, an election for the non-teaching member of staff on Academic Board will take place.

10. Free staff access to LinkedIn Learning

    As part of LJMU’s commitment to supporting staff development, the LinkedIn Learning platform is being made available to everyone.
