1. New website course search function

   This week marks the launch of an exciting new development to our website. A project group have been working with an external agency (Sagittarius) to improve the course search function.

2. Another successful year for the online summer course “Sustainability and Employability”

   Over 60 students successfully completed the online summer course Sustainability and Employability: Understanding Sustainability Issues and Getting Ready for the Job Market.

3. Study for Success courses

   Academic colleagues are encouraged to highlight this year’s Study for Success Canvas course to students.

4. Refugee Nurses course features on BBC Morning Live

   LJMU's acclaimed Refugee Nursing course made the headlines again in a feature on BBC1's flagship Morning Live programme.

5. LJMU pioneers nursing 'transition' course for refugees

   NURSES from overseas are being recruited to join the NHS workforce under a scheme piloted in Liverpool.

6. Criminology students visit Slovenia for international crime and harm reduction discussions

   Students and staff from the Criminology Department, School of Justice Studies recently spent a week in Ljubljana, Slovenia to discuss crime and harm reduction with a range of governmental and non-governmental organisations.

7. Training materials now available on Canvas for CourseLoop

   The CourseLoop Canvas resource has short video guides on how to get started in addition to information if you require additional help and support.

8. LJMU 4th in Uni Compare Top 100 Universities rankings

   Liverpool John Moores University has ranked #3 in Course Quality in the Uni Compare 2023 Rankings and is now in 4th place overall in the Uni Compare Top 100 Universities rankings.
