1. New website course search function

   This week marks the launch of an exciting new development to our website. A project group have been working with an external agency (Sagittarius) to improve the course search function.

2. Join LJMU at Liverpool Pride 2024

   All students and staff are invited to join LJMU at Liverpool Pride on Saturday 27 July.

3. LJMU undertake unique study which will inform early years education

   Scientists at LJMU are to undertake a pioneering study on children's early number skills which will inform the way young children learn. Read the news story.

   Video launches England Women's squad for Euro 2022.

5. New staff facilities now open

   A new staff lounge is now open in Byrom Street as part of a programme of works to enhance facilities in our City Campus.

6. Journalism programmes receive NCTJ award for equality, diversity and inclusion

   The award recognises LJMU’s work on diversity and inclusion including the creation of a Diversity Reporting Guide and a planned Diversity in Journalism Teaching symposium.

7. Military service leavers and reservists - feedback needed

   Our Armed Forces Champion wants to hear about the experiences of students who have served in the military or are reservists.

8. Grants and Projects Update

   New Grants and Projects (GaP) software which provides LJMU with a collaborative creative environment for anyone applying for external funding and professional services to work together on bid and project proposals.

9. Winners announced at Student Experience Awards 2024

   Congratulations to all the winners and nominees at the JMSU Student Experience Awards 2024.
