1. Updated Assessment and Feedback Policy

   The policy has been updated with two new areas of activity on internal moderation and the use of generative AI (GenAI) in assessment.

2. Exclusive to LJMU – part-time or summer student internships and graduate placements available now

   An exciting range of part-time or summer internships are available for current students to apply for now, along with a host of graduate placements for LJMU graduates who left the University from 2020 onwards.

3. TRANSPEER in Lisbon

   The Portugal-leg of TRANSPEER, the international researcher development programme, has taken place in Lisbon.​​​​​​​

4. First Step Spring Internships available for Level 4 students

   A new pilot internship programme for first year students (level 4 only) with little to no previous work experience launched on Monday 15 January and close at midnight on Sunday 4 February. There will be no interview process for these opportunities, the Student Futures team will undertake a matching process between participating organisations and students. The internships will begin on Monday 4 March (start dates may vary for each role).

5. College students enjoy stay in Liverpool and university experience

   At the beginning of July, nearly 100 Year 12 students from Northern Ireland, Wales and across the rest of England took part in a three-day residential visit to LJMU to experience all that the university has to offer.
