1. Pupils learn media skills thanks to LJMU and the BBC

   School and college pupils from across the region have gained an insight into the media and creative industries, thanks to LJMU and the BBC.

2. Masters in Art and Design Degree Show: Class of 2020 show their enterprise

   Around 40 students will exhibit their ideas from MA courses in Fine Art, Graphic Art and Illustration, Art in Science, Fashion Innovation and Realisation and Exhibition Studies.

3. Postgraduate Research Festival

   The programme included 3MT Final, Poster Competition and career insights from Alumni and external organisations

4. LJMU receives Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence and National Teaching Fellowship

   LJMU is one of 15 teams to win the Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence (CATE) and an LJMU academic has also been awarded one of 54 National Teaching Fellows (NTF). Dr Philip Denton, Principal Lecturer at the School of Pharmacy and Biomolecular Sciences, is the recipient of the NTF and the paramedic team at LJMU’s Schools of Nursing and Allied Health received the CATE.

   We are delighted to announce our two new Corporate Charities - Claire House Children's Hospice and The Girls Network.

   Join the Environmental Sustainability and Energy Team as we visit the Farm Urban HQ!

7. Litter Picking - December

   Come and join us as we litter pick around the Education Building and John Fosters Garden.

8. Hedgehog House Installation: JLAD

   The Environmental Sustainability and Energy Team at LJMU are installing hedgehog houses around campus to encourage wildlife and improve biodiversity.

9. Faculty of Engineering and Technology Graduate and Placement Recruitment Fair

   The Graduate and Placement Recruitment Fair takes place on Thursday 10 October 2024, featuring 70+ employers from across all courses and disciplines in the Faculty of Engineering and Technology.

10. Disabled Researchers Network Project 'Community and Connection' event

    LJMU staff and postgraduate research students are warmly invited to the next Disabled Researchers Network project event, 'Community and Connection', on 25th July (online).
