4. Reflecting on honest conversations about race and equality

   Vice-Chancellor Professor Mark Power and one of his reciprocal mentors, Labour MP for Liverpool, Riverside, Kim Johnson, reflect on some of their discussions over the past 18 months; how their upbringing has shaped them into who they are today, if Reciprocal Mentoring works and what learnings they will take with them beyond the programme.

5. More Sumatran orangutans found in the wild than expected

   Researchers have discovered c.14,600 animals still live in the wild today - 8,000 more than expected.

6. Liverpool School of Art and Design MA students' work celebrated in exhibition

   The end of year exhibition runs until 1 September 2023, 10am – 5pm at the John Lennon Art and Design Building.

7. Complete the Student Lifestyle and Health Survey 2024

   Each year we run this survey, it only takes 10 minutes to complete and asks you a range of questions from how much sleep you get, to if you get anxious and how often you feel stressed.

9. The University Funded Diversity and Inclusion Scheme research initiatives announced

   After consideration of all applications to the University Funded Diversity and Inclusion Scheme, the projects to receive funding have been announced.

10. Updated Assessment and Feedback Policy

    The policy has been updated with two new areas of activity on internal moderation and the use of generative AI (GenAI) in assessment.
