1. Art on Merseyside celebrated on campus

   LJMU hosted charity Arts Friends Merseyside in recognition of the organisation’s dedication to the arts in the region, while celebrating LJMU's art collections.

   The Organisational Development teams’ LJMU Leadership Enhancement And Development (LEAD) programme has added another two workshop sessions.

3. Graduate and Placement Jobs Fair

   The Graduate and Placement Jobs Fair takes place on Wednesday 18 October at the Student Life Building, 12-3pm. It will feature 60+ organisations from a range of sectors looking to hire students from across all courses and disciplines. If you have a disability, health condition or are neurodivergent and find busy fairs can be overwhelming, join us from 11am for our accessibility hour.

5. School of Sport and Exercise Sciences celebrates long standing partnership with Everton

   Staff and students past and present gathered at Goodison Park as Everton's Academy Sport Science department hosted an event to celebrate an internship programme run in partnership with The Football Exchange, part of the School of Sport and Exercise Sciences at Liverpool John Moores University.

6. New humanities and social sciences research centre

   The Liverpool Centre for Cultural, Social and Political Research (CSPR) has been established to bring together expertise around humanities and social sciences to drive forward the impact of their work.

7. Transgender Awareness Week and Transgender Day of Remembrance

   As Transgender Awareness Week begins, our LJMU Equality team explains what the week means and why it’s important.

8. Latest quality management and academic partnerships operational guidance

   Colleagues are encouraged to review the guidance to inform their engagement with these key quality management mechanisms this academic year.

9. LJMU first university to be recognised with Cheshire and Merseyside Social Value Award

   The award celebrates LJMU as an ‘anchor institution’ with a university-wide effort contributing to impactful social value across the region.
