   From this month the process to join a staff network has moved to the LJMU website and Microsoft Teams, making it even easier to join one of LJMU’s staff networks

6. Women In Leadership: What Does It Take For Women To Rise To The Top? (Event Invite - 26th Feb 2020)

   After 33 years of service, Julie Lloyd (Executive HR Director at LJMU) retires from the University. Julie is passionate about improving gender diversity and will offer tips on how to obtain a top leadership roles and how to promote gender diversity in senior positions.

7. Public arts visionary leads lecture at Liverpool School of Art and Design

   LJMU welcomed Helen Marriage, the Co-founder and Director of Artichoke arts production company, to its first Luminary Lecture of 2022.

8. LJMU students share ideas with international delegates to work towards the United Nations Global Goals

   LJMU health and social care students joined international delegates at the Social and Solidarity Economy International Forum’s international conference in France.

9. Premier League sports psychologists attend Football Exchange conference

   The Football Exchange, from the School of Sport and Exercise Sciences, hosted its first ‘Psychology of Football’ conference. The event, endorsed by the British Association of Sport and Exercise Science (BASES), was attended by over 120 delegates, including representatives from every English Premier League club, the Scottish Leagues and women’s football, with practitioners travelling from across the UK, Holland, Denmark, Estonia, Norway, Germany, Slovenia, Portugal, Poland and the US.

10. Background should be no obstacle to careers in Law!

    The Law Factor initiative is aimed specifically at increasing the diversity of young people who study and ultimately practice law.
