2. Chris Burgess

   Chris was born during the Second World War and only studied at university much later in life, like many of the mature students that choose to study with LJMU. He also had a late dyslexia diagnosis, making him realise he just had a different way of thinking and learning.

3. Olivia Weston

   Olivia is a marketing executive and a degree apprenticeship graduate, having studied with us over four years before gaining her BSc in Digital Technology Solutions. She is passionate about STEM opportunities for all, uncovering data bias and championing diverse career pathways.

4. Nursing

   Within the Nursing Research Group, our health and social care research is helping to transform people's lives for the better. Our expertise includes: technology in healthcare, specific topics relevant to children, young people and families; the outcomes of health and social care education, healthcare delivery, and resilience in modern living. 5. Supporting students with life-limiting illnesses

   Our project aims to develop a charter that outlines the support that LJMU provides students faced with life-limiting or palliative diagnoses during their studies, but who wish to continue their studies.

6. Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity training for external parties

7. Peter Johnson

   Read the oration for Peter Johnson on the award of their Honorary Fellowship from Liverpool John Moores University presented by Professor Frank Sanderson.

8. Jason Boulter

   Jason supports staff, both individuals and teams, across the university to enhance their knowledge and to improve their skills as our Organisational Development Manager. Having graduated from LJMU in 1998, Jason stayed on in a temporary role working in student welfare and has remained at LJMU ever since. This year he celebrates 25 years working at the university.

9. Paul McGann
