1. Building maintenance update

   We have entered a new partnership with an award-winning contractor to maintain your facilities across the university.

   As the new academic year begins and our campus becomes busy once more, staff are reminded to ensure that all faults are reported via the respective Helpdesks.

6. Colleagues proudly support Liverpool Against Racism events

   LJMU staff members proudly supported sessions at the Liverpool Against Racism Conference this week, a day of conversation around systematic racism in society and a debate on what meaningful change really looks like.

7. Black History Month Lecture reaches over 100 pupils!

   In celebration of Black History Month LJMU Historian Dr Andrea Livesey delivered a bespoke lecture entitled "Toppling Statues and renaming building" | The Black Lives Matter Movement and the History of Slavery to young people across the U.K.

8. LJMU wins major construction industry award

   LJMU has won a major award from the regional construction industry.

9. Athena SWAN success for School of Sport and Exercise Sciences

   The School of Sport and Exercise Sciences has been successful in its application for Athena SWAN Bronze Award.

10. LJMU success at Greater China Awards 2022

    The university has won accolades for its work with China, as part of the UK's Department for International Trade Greater China Awards 2022.
