1. Student finance reminder

   If you are an undergraduate student and are continuing on your course in September 2019, don’t forget to reapply for your student finance as soon as possible.

2. UKRI open access monograph funding changes

   A reminder that UKRI has recently announced their guidance and requirements with regards to publishing open access monographs, which come into place from 1 January 2024.

3. LJMU Diversity and Inclusion Calendar 2023 is now available

   LJMU’s Diversity and Inclusion Calendar is now available as a resource to all staff and students on the LJMU website.

4. Confidential Waste Policy update

   The updated policy includes further information on disposing of small amounts of confidential waste in confidential waste bins across the university and on how you can order secure bags for larger quantities.

5. Data protection related policy updates

   Four data protection related policies have been updated and can now be found on the LJMU Policy Centre.

6. Admissions Policy update

   The LJMU Admissions Policy has recently undergone some minor amendments and the updated version can be found in the Policy Centre.

7. Supporting those facing domestic abuse

   LJMU is backing a campaign to support people facing gender-based violence.

9. Honorary Fellow Sir Jon Murphy

   Sir Jon Murphy QPM received an Honorary Fellowship from Liverpool John Moores University on Thursday 27 November 2014 in recognition of his exceptional services to policing and community relations.

10. Staff Car Parking Update

    Following a recent review of LJMU staff car parking provision, the university will continue to subsidise staff car parking until 31 August 2023.
