1. Health and safety code of practice updates

   Two of our health and safety codes of practice and have updated and can be accessed on the Policy Centre.

2. LJMU Health and Wellbeing Strategy

   As Feel Fab Feb activities comes to an end, our Executive Leadership Team is highlighting the importance of health and wellbeing at LJMU, with the relaunch of the Health and Wellbeing Strategy.

3. New ES1 form available for managers

   The Finance team has recently updated the ES1 form used to assess contractors against HMRCs off-payroll working rules (sometimes called IR35).

4. Data management plan training for research applications

   Need to create a data management plan for your research application? New training sessions will start this September to help you using DMPonline.

5. Staff Sharepoint migration

   IT Services has started the process of migrating all of our on-premise SharePoint and shared drives (JT2) to either Microsoft Teams or SharePoint Online.

6. New Teaching and Learning Academy policies

   Two new policies will support teaching staff in their development through peer exchange and direct observation.

7. Bicentenary branded templates and assets

   To celebrate this special milestone year, we’ve added a range of branded templates and assets to our brand and design hub for all staff to access and use throughout the year.

8. Student Recruitment, Marketing and Admissions take LJMU to Northern Ireland

   Academics, professional service staff and students travelled to Belfast for a recent university applicant day.

9. Share your Eurovision 2023 plans

   We’re keen to understand how our own LJMU community might be planning to mark the event coming to Liverpool, and we can help to co-create and promote your Eurovision related events and initiatives.
