4. LJMU and Baltic Creative collaboration set to equip region with more creatives

   In a bid to better connect students with digital and creative businesses across the Liverpool City Region, Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Baltic Creative Community Interest Company (CIC).

5. Broadcast Hub delivers interviews with Sky News and international broadcasters

   The Broadcast Hub is proving to be a useful tool for further raising the profile of the University, with Dr David Lowe conducting interviews with Sky News and broadcasters based in Istanbul and Dubai.

6. Coffee and Connections Welcomes the Defence and Security Accelerator

   Coffee and Connections events are part of The Engagement Network (TEN) an initiative designed to connect people and opportunities, to foster innovation and enhance engagement with partners and colleagues.

7. New entrepreneur discovery competition

   LJMU is hosting the local heat of a new entrepreneur discovery competition, open to all University alumni and students. The Federation of Self-Employed and Small Businesses and FSB Connect are running the competition to give budding entrepreneurs a financial boost and raise their profile.

8. Criminology students visit Slovenia for international crime and harm reduction discussions

   Students and staff from the Criminology Department, School of Justice Studies recently spent a week in Ljubljana, Slovenia to discuss crime and harm reduction with a range of governmental and non-governmental organisations.

9. Climate Explorers - pioneering project to educate children in environmental issues

   A unique project led by Liverpool John Moores University is set to produce a lasting legacy of climate change education by creating a suite of new multi-media content for children (7-12 years), parents, and educators.

10. New research opportunities with GROWTH for the Astrophysics Research Institute

    The Astrophysics Research Institute (ARI) has been named as an official partner in the GROWTH scientific collaboration.
