1. Summer and graduate placement opportunities

   A great range of 200-hour part-time (20 hours per week over 10 weeks) and five-month full-time, paid student summer placements are currently available exclusively to LJMU students.

4. Exciting events at our new Student Life Building this month!

   Our brand new Student Life Building is open and to celebrate all our students being back on campus weve got lots of FREE and exciting activities planned for induction week (W/C 20th September).

5. Paid opportunity to solve a real world issue

   LCR Founders is offering students from any programme or level of study the chance to apply for a three-day paid consultancy to solve a real-world issue presented by an external organisation.

6. Support our application for Athena Swan Silver accreditation

   You still have chance to support LJMU’s application for Athena Swan Silver accreditation by sharing your views on working at the university.

7. Military veterans, reservists and their partners offered enhanced support by LJMU

   As an Armed Forces friendly organisation, LJMU has introduced new measures to better support veterans, reservists and their partners who work for the university, or who may look to join the institution in the future.

8. LJMU host 59th Annual Associated Schools of Construction International Conference

   Hosted outside of the USA for only the second time in the conference's history, more than 170 delegates gathered in Liverpool for the three-day event.

9. April is Stress Awareness Month

   We have collated various workshops and resources, which we hope will help you manage your stress levels and identify how LJMU can support you.

10. Encouraging more girls to become involved in biomechanics

    In celebration of National Biomechanics Day 2023 (Wednesday 5 April), the Biomechanics Research Group within LJMU’s School of Sport and Exercise Sciences, delivered an exciting, fun-filled, activity packed event with schoolgirls from a Liverpool primary school.
