1. Armistice Day 2024 arrangements

   We will mark Armistice Day by observing a two-minute silence at 11am on Monday 11 November.

3. Remembrance Day, LJMU pledges support for armed forces community.

   Ahead of Remembrance Day, Liverpool John Moores University has pledged its support for the armed forces community.

4. Research and Innovation Day Invites Entries to Scholarly Snaps Competition

   The competition for scholarly snaps will take place again at this year's Research and Innovation Day on Wednesday 19th June. To be a part of this competition please submit your pictures by Wednesday 5th June.

5. International Day of Persons with Disabilities (IDPD) - 3rd December 2019

   1981 was designated by the United Nations as the International Year of Disabled People and since then, 3rd December has been marked as the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The day aims to promote a better understanding of disability issues with a focus on the rights of disabled people and the gains derived from their integration into every aspect of the political, social, economic and cultural life of our communities.

9. LJMU marks World Menopause Day 2023

   In recognition of World Menopause Day 2023 our staff came together for the fourth Menopause Café of the year and to talk about how we can all play a role in supporting and understanding colleagues going through the menopause.
