1. NatWest partnership boosts chances for student entrepreneurs

   Students with exciting business ideas are benefitting from a new partnership with banking giant NatWest.

2. Make a difference for The Whitechapel Centre

   For the last two years we have been involved in the Whitechapel Christmas Appeal and thanks to you all donating an amazing amount of gifts, you helped make Christmas special for The Whitechapel Centre clients. We are delighted to be supporting the initiative again and hope that you're are all feeling as generous as in previous years.

3. New Respect Always film celebrates LJMU voices and accents

   A new video has launched as part of a Respect Always campaign to celebrate and highlight the importance of having patience and respect for all the voices and accents, here at LJMU.

4. Be part of our Validation and Periodic Programme Reviews

   Academic colleagues are invited to express an interest in becoming a panel member or chair for our Validation and Periodic Programme Reviews.

5. Support for transgender and non-binary students

   We now have dedicated information on our student support webpages, for transgender and non-binary students, to find out how to get help and support while at university, as well as requesting a name change via LJMU.

6. Get 'Too Good to Go' food from Core Cafes

   To further help with the Cost of Living and as part of our commitment to sustainability at LJMU, we’re launching the Too Good to Go app for students and staff this September.

7. LJMU Library launches new reading corner

   LJMU Library has developed a new children's reading corner, providing access to a collection of children's books. This new space provides a fun and relaxed reading area for use by students, staff, local teachers and school children.

8. New look and menu for LJMU catering outlets

   LJMU is launching a brand new look and menu across all of our catering outlets.

9. Can you support Clearing 2024?

   LJMU is looking for staff to help recruit students to LJMU during Clearing 2024 on Thursday 15 August.

10. School pupils learn about law at LJMU

    Pupils from schools across the Liverpool City Region have discovered more about the legal profession thanks to an initiative from LJMU.
