LJMU welcomed more than 100 girls from schools across the Liverpool City Region for a Making Space event to mark British Science Week.
LJMU’s Professor of Exercise Physiology is also the incumbent President of the European College of Sport Science, and recently welcomed around 2,800 delegates from across the globe to the annual congress, this year held in Vienna.

The journalism department is hosting a free one-day conference on EDI in journalism education on Wednesday 26 June.
Second year international tourism management students were given a tour of Liverpool John Lennon Airport earlier this month to gain insight into the operational and strategic challenges of managing one of the fastest growing airports in Europe.
Additional training dates have now been made available as GaP (Grants and Projects) training has proved to be very popular.
