1. LJMU Diversity and Inclusion Calendar 2023 is now available

   LJMU’s Diversity and Inclusion Calendar is now available as a resource to all staff and students on the LJMU website.

2. New way to request visitor parking and out of hours or security access

   Campus Support (Security) now has a number of staff request forms available via the LJMU HelpMe portal, to help with the management of requests.

3. Work with LJMU Marketing

   LJMU Marketing Services are on the lookout for students to feature in our print and online marketing materials and work alongside us to help produce social media content - to promote the university and Liverpool.

4. Costis to advise Public Health England on COVID impacts

   Costis Maganaris, of the School of Sport and Exercise Sciences, has been appointed a COVID-19 advisor to Public Health England.

5. Academic Registry training sessions February to July 2023

   There are still many staff training opportunities available this academic year, through to the end of July 2023, covering a range of topics.

6. New approach to degree apprenticeships

   LJMU is developing a new, more efficient process to manage our degree apprenticeship programmes.

7. Join the LJMU All Staff Football Tournament this September

   On 5 September, LJMU will be hosting an all-staff 5-aside football tournament in the LJMU Sport Building with all levels of football experience welcome.

8. School of Art and Design receives RIBA funding

   RIBA has awarded funding to LJMU's School of Art and Design for innovative research into building design for sufferers of dementia.

9. Academic Registry Roadshows

   Informal one-hour breakfast sessions open to all academic staff who want to learn more about the support available to them from Academic Registry.

10. New Diversity and Inclusion Policy

    The D&I Team has developed the Transgender and Non-Binary Policy for staff and students, with accompanying guidance.
