1. New staff facilities now open

   A new staff lounge is now open in Byrom Street as part of a programme of works to enhance facilities in our City Campus.

   More than 150 primary school children from across the North West came to LJMU to take part in an innovative, hands-on experience, entitled ‘Art at the heart of STEM.’

6. £3,600 raised for charity in first week of NSS

   We have raised a fantastic £3,600 for charity during the first week of the National Student Survey 2020.

7. Academic Registry results notification briefings

   Two Microsoft Teams sessions will take place later this month to assist LJMU administrative staff involved with the pre and post board of examiner process, including results notification.

8. LJMU makes commitment to become a Menopause Friendly employer

   Marking World Menopause Day 2024 the university continues to progress its workplace support, awareness and understanding of the menopause.

9. Events and support for disabled and neurodivergent students

   Disability History Month begins this week (16 November- 16 December) and LJMU has a range of events, careers advice sessions and support available for students.

10. Training: Supporting students from Gypsy, Traveller, Roma, Showmen and Boater communities

    LJMU has long prided itself on offering access to higher education to under-represented sections of our community.
