   LJMU has released its latest film to celebrate the bicentennial of the university. The film titled 200 years of ‘Yes you can’ celebrates the university’s long history within the city, raising people up.

4. Apply for 'Nia': career development programme for ethnically diverse staff

   Applications for the ‘Nia’ development programme 2023 are now open to ethnically diverse staff at LJMU.

5. Is it time to start rethinking endings in global health emergencies?

   The ‘After the End’ project aims to improve the way in which we end global health emergencies by critically examining how endings are determined and what happens after the end is declared.

6. New hub of wellbeing events for students and staff

   We've launched the ‘Looking after your wellbeing’ event hub on the LJMU website to bring together all the different events happening across the university and help you look after your wellbeing.

7. Over 200 students graduate at LJMU partner college in Malaysia

   262 students have graduated from YPC International College, one of LJMU’s long term academic partners, at a ceremony in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

8. Join the alumni mentoring program

   LJMU Connect has launched the LJMU Mentoring Group to enable students, staff and alumni to develop meaningful mentoring connections within our LJMU community.

9. Shining a spotlight on our long serving staff members

   As we near the end of 2023 and our Bicentenary celebrations, we're shining a spotlight on some of the staff members who have celebrated their own milestone of 25,35,45 or 50 years at the institution.

10. Complete the Postgraduate Research Experience Survey 2023

    Postgraduate Research Students have the chance to win £500 as well as help raise money for a fantastic local charity by taking part in a short survey.
