5. Black History Month through the eyes of a local Liverpool pupil

   This month Ceana Khonje, a local pupil from Belvedere College in Liverpool took on a work experience placement here at LJMU.

6. Network launched to connect sport science experts with PE teachers and sports coaches

   Experts from LJMUs Physical Activity Exchange have launched a new network so that they can better share knowledge and support the professional development of school PE teachers and sports coaches within the Liverpool City Region.

7. Nominate an LJMU honorary fellow

   We’re asking our students, staff, alumni and LJMU community to nominate individuals they would like to become an LJMU honorary fellow.

8. Aspiring Leaders from BAME Communities Informal Networking Event

   On Thursday 14th November 2019  (12.30pm  – 3.30pm), Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) will host a BAME into Leadership network event in partnership with BME Leadership Network (BLN) and Parrett Laver a recruitment company that assist HEIs with recruiting top level positions.

9. Staff and community partners celebrate LGBT History Month

   To mark LGBT HIstory Month, LJMU Together (the University's LGBT+ Staff Network) organised a social event on Friday 22nd February featuring talks and a chance to play 'Psychic Bingo' with Liverpool's Lady Seanne.

10. LJMU Marks National Inclusion Week (2020)

    National Inclusion Week runs from the 28th Sep - 4th Oct 2020 and gives you the opportunity to demonstrate your commitment to inclusion in and outside of the LJMU community.
